Noyes Park Construction Update!

Here is a photo of the new kids play area courtesy of DGS.
Check out this great update on the progress at Noyes Park from the DC Department of General Services! Looks like a lot of progress is being made and the park is scheduled to be delivered by late summer. I can't wait to try out the bbq grills with some neigbors!

Noyes Park Final Design Concept

Although the construction of the new Noyes Park is well underway, we thought it would be a good idea to post the final design concept here for neighbors who haven't had the chance to check it out yet. Also see the Noyes Park page at the DC Department of General Sevices for more info.

Welcome Brooklanders Concerned About Noyes Park!

Hello Neighbors,
I created this blog to have a place where those of us interested in the Noyes Park renovation could share ideas and information. I hope to schedule a meeting with the DC Department of Parks and Recreation soon so that we can learn the latest about the park and its community gardens. One of our first orders of business is identifying who is interested in participating in this group - if you would like to be involved please email me at Noyes.Park.Neighbors@gmail.com .Thanks for your interest, and here's to building a successful community group in support of Noyes Park!
